Haus is a non-profit, creative community, located in downtown Reykjavík. We have almost 400 members working across our 6000m2 of space in two locations.

In 2022 I funded and put together a team of creators that worked with the City of Reykjavík to get our first location, Hafnar.haus up and running. In 2025 we set up a second location called Hlemmur.haus.

I’m currently the chairman of the board.

We have almost 200 private studios and an open plan coworking space at affordable rates. Members have access to meeting rooms, a photo studio, recording and podcast studio, and all sorts of things needed to make an idea come alive. We offer daily, cheap, and healthy communal lunches, multiple events every week, all sorts of clubs, exhibitions, workshops, performances, art markets, residencies.

And most importantly, a community of like minded people, all working to make this an inclusive space for all kinds creatives.
