Ramp Up Goes To Ukraine
Construction has started on the first ramps in Lviv, Ukraine, with the aim of building 100 ramps in the city centre.
The project is a collaboration between Ramp Up and the Mayor’s office. Ramp Up is donating $100,000 to the city to help improve accessibility in the areas where residents go to shop and socialize.
In the video above, Mayor Andriy Sadovyi is seen discussing the project as we see builders in the background busy at work constructing the first ramps.
Ramp Up is a non-profit founded by Haraldur Thorleifsson, with the aim of improving accessibility globally by building ramps in collaboration with local governments.
Lviv is the first partner to be announced, with more coming soon.
