Album Release Concert At Nasa

Yesterday Önnu Jónu Son put on a sold out concert for the release of his album The Radio Won’t Let Me Sleep, at Nasa in downtown Reykjavík.

The artist played with a full band as well as a brass section, with some of the best musicians in Iceland.

Önnu Jónu Son performed all songs from his new albums as well as a few others. The concert was intimate, in the beautiful music hall that has reclaimed its glory after being recently fully re-built.

The album features songs written over a 30 year period. The songs are about loss and sorrow, but mostly about love and hope.
