Musk And Halli Reconcile After A Public Debate
Haraldur Thorleifsson was locked out of his computer, but after nine days of no answer from the company, decided to tweet the CEO.
After a misunderstanding led to Haraldur being let go from Twitter, Elon Musk, the owner and CEO of the company, and Haraldur, had a public debate that unfolded on the platform.
The conversation ultimately led to a reconciliation with Elon tweeting:
“I would like to apologize to Halli for my misunderstanding of his situation. It was based on things I was told that were untrue or, in some cases, true, but not meaningful.”
Haraldur had worked at Twitter, leading an Innovation team, after his agency Ueno was acquired. Mr. Musk offered him his role back but after consideration Haraldur decided it was time to move on.
