Halli Receives The “Love Ball”
The award is given yearly to recipient who has with their actions changed the attitudes and lives of their fellow citizens for the better.
"Haraldur has made his mark in many areas of society, as an entrepreneur, businessman, designer, musician and philanthropist. He is a fighter for human rights and a better society and has attracted national attention for his work in the project Ramp Up Iceland, which aims to improve accessibility for disabled people.”
All proceeds from the sale of the Love Ball go to Reykjadalur, a summer camp for children with disabilities, which Ramp Up made more accessible in 2022.
Each year a new artist makes the ornament, this year the artist was Guðjón Ketilsson, winner of the 2020 Icelandic Art Awards.
